This New England themed fall wedding brings the boisterous beauty of a Connecticut fall to the heart of Oklahoma. Lillian and Ezra rightfully chose the Park House at Myriad Botanical Gardens to host their organically opulent affair. Between the ceremony, reception and everything in between, a burst of orange brightened the scene with flourishing florals and delightful decor from 110 Events. Lillian added to all the natural charm with a poised hair and makeup look by Profile Beauty Nook. After the couple said “I do” in front of a vibrant floral altar, they broke the glass, a tradition that is a moment of remembrance for Jewish temples’ destruction. We love a wedding with a traditional nod to the couple’s religion, and OKC Entertainment helped this couple do just so with the horah – a chair dance celebration! After a few dance moves, guests got a taste of the tempting-looking treat from Amy Cakes, which fit the theme tremendously with its pine cone decoration. At the end of the night, a stunning sunset set the scene for the couple’s sweet photos with KGC Photography. We can’t imagine a more romantic scene! As if this fairytale night was about to end, the remarkable Skirvin Hotel provided accommodations for the newlyweds and their wedding party. After all, our most significant takeaway is that this wedding proves Oklahoma needs to see more New England fall-themed affairs. Cheers to Lillian and Ezra!

From the couple on their favorite memory: “One of our favorite memories came much later in the evening. When we were about to shut things down, the entire party joined together for a conga line. Even the horns section of the band came down to march around the tent! The biggest shock of it all was that I got my dad (generally an ‘avoid-the-dance-floor-at-all costs’ type of guy) to lead the charge around the tent with nearly a hundred people following him. It was a blur of jovial faces as we wove in and out of tables joined in our merriment and laughter.”
