Neelie Brown + Andrew Kuchel’s Oklahoma Wedding Captured by Amanda Watson Photography
Neelie and Andrew met their sophomore year at the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and he was a Beta Theta Pi. After meeting, the couple dated for five years. Once they graduated college and established their careers, Andrew proposed through Neelie’s beloved dog, CeCe, who donned a beautiful red collar revealing a sparkling engagement ring. Neelie excitedly said yes!
After planning for 10 months, Neelie and Andrew’s special day had arrived. Wedding guests enjoyed accommodations at the lovely Skirvin Hotel and the couple opted to have the rehearsal dinner at Mickey Mantle’s in Bricktown. Neelie and Andrew were married at the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. Newlyweds and guests celebrated afterward at the OKC Farmers Public Market. The wedding colors were beautiful hues of cranberry, gold and blush. Bridesmaids and house party included the bride’s sister and sister in-law, childhood friend and sorority sisters. The groomsmen and ushers consisted of the groom’s brother, childhood friends, cousin and fraternity brothers.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in St. Lucia and now resides in Fort Worth. She works as a radiation therapist while he is a petroleum engineer. Neelie and Andrew hope to make their home back in Oklahoma in the near future.
