We literally squealed when we saw the adorable surprise guests at Allison and Kevin’s luxe pastel Southwind Hills wedding! Allison and Kevin were wrapping up pictures as Allison’s sister and wedding planner surprised everyone with a litter of puppies to hold. “It was quite possibly the most mind-blowing, amazing experience of my life (outside of getting married of course!). You couldn’t wipe the shock and tears from my face,” said the bride.
Classic invites from Paper + More really set the tone for this beautiful wedding. Allison’s maids looked so gorgeous in blush gowns from Prim, and everyone’s hair was perfect thanks to Lexi Faught! With the help of Marianne’s, Mood, and Poppy Lane Design, mixed white peonies, greenery and blush accents draped every inch of the venue and large candelabras gave the evening that sparkle mood lighting. Cake and treats from Amy Cakes satisfied guests’ sweet tooth, and Oklahoma wedding videographer Pen Weddings was on hand to capture the sweetest video, be sure and scroll to check it out! Cheers to Allison and Kevin (and their adorable furry friends)!

Kevin and Allison first met in 1996 when Kevin’s family moved to Allison’s hometown of Champaign, Illinois. Kevin is a few years older and friends with her sister, but their relationship was simply platonic. After four years in Champaign, Kevin’s family moved away in 2001. Fast forward 17 years later, Kevin and Allison met up again while they were both in Las Vegas. Sparks flew, and Allison and Kevin were inseparable from that day forward.
The venue search ended when they came across Southwind Hills, an all-in-one ceremony and reception venue with a beautiful outdoor space. Aisle be With You made the couple’s vision come alive by bringing “city chic” to the rustic barn. Late night snacks of burger sliders, mini pizzas and truffle fries were enjoyed, and with full bellies and happy hearts, the night ended with the guests surrounding the couple in a circle as the band played “Sweet Caroline.”
