Alyssa and Connor went to school together growing up but didn’t officially meet until high school at his senior night. Alyssa had offered to help and ended up being the waiter at Connor’s table. Later that night, she received a text from him asking her on their first date. Five and a half years later they haven’t looked back!
The couple decided to travel to Scotland and Ireland for Christmas. On their first night in Edinburgh, surprised Alyssa with a photo shoot. After two hours of driving to Glencoe and exploring the area, Connor found the perfect spot in the middle of a winter wonderland. During their photo shoot, Connor surprised Alyssa with her second Christmas present – a proposal! Alyssa happily accepted and the couple set the date for December 13, 2015.
Alyssa and Connor wed at The Hall at The Railhouse under the coordination expertise of Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events. The couple opted for an eclectic West Coast industrial theme with a color palette of berries, pinks and leafy greens. Escorted by her mother and father, Alyssa walked down the aisle in Katie May’s striking Sienna gown. The handmade gown was backless with amazing corded lace. The bride finished her look with a sheer Katie May Veil.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party and guests enjoyed their time dancing to music and taking part in an assortment of delicious food catered by Abbey Road Catering. The couple’s favorite memory was the maid of honor and best man speeches. Alyssa and Connor ended the wonderful evening by dancing to Ray LaMontagne’s “Hold You in My Arms.”
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in St. Martin and currently reside in Edmond.
