Fashion influencer and recent Oklahoma bride, Emma Battle of @emmaginethis, opens up about newlywed life with her beau, Chris, and looks back on her wedding planning journey. Style comes easily to Emma. She inspires her audience on the daily with her seamless ability to put together outfits that all prompt a swipe up for that must-have item to add to our closets. Yet, planning a wedding was another feat altogether. “There is already so much pressure in the influencer world so it is pretty much multiplied when planning a wedding,” said Battle. You just want everything to be more than perfect because you feel like everyone is paying even more attention.” Read on for Emma’s take on planning her Oklahoma wedding, and see her fun after-I-do shoot captured by Tammy Odell Photography featuring both bridal style in her very own bridal gown (the bridal consultants at Bella Rose Bridal worked closely with Emma on her wedding day attire) and anniversary shoot inspiration in the cutest styled looks. Lexi Faught and Anthousai finished off Emma’s ensembles with a striking beauty look and crisp white bouquet respectively. Enjoy!

The style influencer recently tied the knot in a summer ceremony at Oklahoma Hall of Fame & Gaylord-Pickens Museum in a ceremony and reception that felt less formal and more akin to an enchanted summer party. She wore a classic, strapless and form fitting lace gown by designer, Stella York (available locally at Prescott Bridal). Looking back on the day, Battle’s one piece of advice is to hire a planner, especially if your guest list is over 200. “It is so difficult to not have one because you don’t have anyone to go to directly when something needs to be done.” As for staying on budget, the fashionista said it was one of the most valuable lessons she learned while planning. We all have our splurges with fashion but when it comes to wedding planning, Battle explained that “everything will cost more than you expect.”

Newlywed life for this beautiful couple has been pure bliss. “We love doing everything together,” Battle explained. “It’s fun to go on walks, go to the gym and go out together. Everything is fun with your best friend.” The couple spends lots of quality time with one another. When asked for any words of advice for newlyweds, Battle said “to remember that your partner will make mistakes, and so will you. Have constant respect and grace for each other.”
