Preppy wedding inspiraton from Gibson Events

Image Map

We just adore this preppy tabletop design from Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events featured in the 2011 issues of Brides of Oklahoma! We’ve paired some oh-so-adorable gowns and accessories that we think would be perfect for a preppy soiree! Try this floor-length number in flame with matching belt from After Six or opt for a short and sweet design like this midnight blue dress from Watters. Find After Six locally at Bella Rose Bridal and Watters Bridesmaid at J.J. Kelly Bridal Salon. Don’t forget about the guys! Nothing says preppy better than a hip bow tie like this one from Vineyard Vines available at Cayman’s. Need to dress up the girls? A pretty Slane pearl necklace or pair of pearl earrings will do just the trick! Cute kicks like these from Diane Von Furstenberg will complete the preppy look! And for something both the guys and gals can appreciate, a classic pair of red Ray-Ban Wayfarer are perfect for some fun photo ops! Find the sunglasses, jewelry and flats at Cayman’s in Norman.

Beyond the chic table setting, Gibson Events shared tons of fab details to carry throughout your preppy affair like this adorable three-tiered confection from Mishelle Handy Cakes, chic chandelier and unique coffee bar. The bold florals from Rebecca’s Silver Rose are absolutely perfect! Up for some lawn games? We love the crochet set for guests to enjoy! Thanks to Josh McCullock Photography for capturing every fabulous detail! For more from this preppy shoot, be sure to watch the behind-the-scenes footage from Carpe Diem Productions!
