Certain color combinations can be intimidating, but in this lovely orange and blue styled shoot, Hilary Tailored Events proves two bold colors don’t have to be a sight for sore eyes. In fact, quite the opposite is true here! With bright light pouring into Park House from floor to ceiling and a bright, contemporary tablescape, the orange and blue blooms from Poppy Lane Design really stand out, but at the same time, work so well together softened with floral texture and by incorporating other bold aspects into the aesthetic, like wood accents. Luxurious linens from Marianne’s Rentals Special Event Solutions help again to brighten and soften the space and create a beautiful backdrop for the place settings and daintily calligraphed stationery. Sophisticated glassware and other acrylic elements mirror the walls of glass Park House is known for. We love how Hilary Tailored Events took a risk with colors here, but by knowing how to give other elements the spotlight, lovely orange shades and bold blue tones work together in a vibrant yet understated perfect harmony. Cheers!

From the planner: “I wanted to use a color combination that people can be a little scared of: orange and blue. I wanted to soften it up and show just how beautiful it can be if done right. I also wanted to incorporate multiple wooden textures to show that wooden does not have to mean rustic. The natural lighting of Park House pulled it all together.”
