A Unique-Rustic, Oklahoma Wedding Venue
by Brides of Oklahoma April 16
The Brides of Oklahoma recently visited The Tatanka Ranch in Stroud, Oklahoma. A quaint, rustic get-a-way located just off of the Turner Turnpike practically halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Its 1,000 sprawling acres are a site to see. This venue offers something unique and different for the Oklahoma bride looking for charm and casual elegance. Weddings can be held outside on a beautiful patio or out on the deck extending into the waters on the property. A deal for sure, if booked by brides, The Tatanka Ranch closes its doors to all other outside visitors. Brides and their guests have the entire 1,000 acres to themselves! If not held outside, the wedding reception can be held in the gigantic, rustic barn on the premises – a great, blank slate for design and creativity to flourish.
The Tatanka Ranch also has about a dozen log cabins – the perfect retreat for your special guests or family who attend the wedding. Other wedding weekend activities that might interest you or your guests include intimate horseback rides, fun ATV’s, picnics and more. And, if you need extra lodging, we suggest you check out Territory Cellars, an Oklahoma winery, just down the road from The Tatanka Ranch – perhaps a great rehearsal dinner spot as well!
